Shipping info:
For Australian buyers, item will be shipped via Australia Post or Sendle depending on your location. Tracking number & $100 insurance is included.

For International buyers, your order will be shipped via International Standard with tracking number. $100 insurance is included.

Damaged items during transit:
All the items will be wrapped and shipped in mailing box. If the box arrived damaged, please take pictures of the mailing box inc. address label and damaged items. We are more than happy to assist you with Australia Post/Sendle compensation.

Materials Info: we use fine jewellery parts for your sensitive skin.

Nickel free sterling silver is used for earring posts, ear nuts, hooks, hoops, jump rings & chains.
We use quality 14k fold filled hoop and hooks (nickel free).
Gold filled contains 5% solid gold.

Gold plating and vermeil contains -0.05% and -1% respectively and are not suited for fine jewellery.

If you are allergic to sterling silver or have other metal allergies, please feel free to contact us for different materials. I'm more than happy to source right findings for you.

Care Instruction:
Lustre decorated items are delicate.
Please treat with love and clean with mild detergent & soft cloth or sponge.

Sterling silver earrings posts can be cleaned with silver polish (Goddard's recommended) but please do not dip ceramic parts into silver solution. This will make clear glaze milky.

Please clean gold filled items with soft soap and cloth in warm water.

We're not responsible for the items lost by customers. Please remove them before shower or sports.

Faulty items:
We're in accordance with Australian Consumer Laws. We're happy to repair faulty items or replace (unrepairable items only) within 3 months of purchase.
Please present a proof of purchase and/ or a photograph of items.

If earrings backs loosen from wear, please squeeze rings tightly. Please always make sure that back is locked in the right place.
If the problem persists, please stop wearing earrings and contact us for a customer service.

Warranty is not covered for the damage from wear and tear. Buyers are expected to handle pieces with care and proper maintenance.

If you lose one of the earrings, you may be able to purchase a single piece if available. Shipping cost will also apply at buyer's expense.

A bit of history of and O design...
Since 2009 from a home studio in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Japanese artist Yumi Ando has hand crafted intricately painted lustre necklaces and earrings, curious bunny brooches, miniature plant hangers, faceted geometric forms and more. Inspired by the natural world, industrial forms and drawing on her Japanese heritage, each piece is a unique cultural fusion and tells a personal story.

Shaped from porcelain, earthernware and raku, all her works are decorated and assembled by hand. Her pastel and traditional Japanese colours; indigo blue, matcha green and sakura pink were first created in 2010. She has been making lustre decorated jewellery and homewares since 2011 and her lustre work and colours are now part of and O design’s signature style which has recently become a trend in and of itself.

As of June 2017, she has made a new home to Canberra, Australia's bush capital. Yumi enjoys regular walks in the bush, luckily minutes from her home studio with Kangaroos hopping around and beautiful sunset every day.
